Andre Chapuy

Andre Chapuy was a Parisian born painter of nudes, landscapes, portraits and genre scenes.
In 1907 Chapuy first exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Independants and continued on to exhibit at the Societe Nationale des Beaux-arts, where he became a member in 1914. Chapuy also exhibited at the Salon d’Automne and the Salon des Tuileries.

The Musee d’Orsay has collected his painting Snow Effect.
Andre Chapuy died July 9, 1941
