André Paul Henri Tondu

1903-1980

André Tondu was born February 11, 1903. He studied the work of Cormon, Renard and J.P. Laurens at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris from 1920-1923. In 1931 he received the Prix de Rome. In 1987 a Parisian auction house sold a large estate of Tondu’s work.

Tondu died May 26, 1980.
