ANN PEACOCK

Born in Hitchin in 1947, Ann started painting 33 years ago, working through various techniques, building up experience by painting a wide range of subjects. Her fascination with the structure of flowers inspires her to magnify every detail, showing all the beauty of its creation. Ann has had solo exhibitions at various galleries including Gordon Craig, Stevenage, Luton Library, Hitchin Museum, Art Gallery and Saxon Gallery, Hitchin.

Ann was the runner up in Daler/Rowney competition and has had work published in Woman’s Weekly. She was one of 400 finalists in the Daily Mail “No, Not the Turner Prize” 2004 selected from 10,000 entrants.
