Arthur O. Berry

Born 1930 Beery was born in Marion, Ohio in 1930.

He exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art in 1960, at the Butler Institute of American Art from 1968-1070, Watercolor USA in Springfield, MO. 1971, 23rd Grand Prix International in Deauville, France in1972. Contemporary American Art Invitational, Cernuschi Gallery in Paris in 1972.

We won People’s Choice award at the Ohio State Fair in 1967, awards at the Butler Institute of Art 1968, and the Richard P. Stahl Award, Watercolor USA, 1971. He was a member of the Mansfield, Ohio Fine Arts Guild, and Columbus Ohio Art League.

He worked at the Butler Institute of Art in Youngstown, Ohio, the Erie Pennsylvania Art Center; Lessco Data, NYC; J.M. Katz Collection, Pennsylvania.

He was commissioned to paint murals of Athens, Greece, Monte Carlo, Stromboli, and Rock of Gibraltar & Charleston, South Carolina for U.S. Navy Minecraft Base, Charleston, 1954.
