Palmerston was a South Pasadena, California artist,

She won first prize in watercolor at Las Artistas exhibited at LA City Hall, per Covina Argus, February 27, 1958. She demonstrated casein painting at Pasadena Art Fair on September 4, 1966, She exhibited at a group show at Golden Willow Gallery, Taos, New Mexico.

Palmerston exhibited at the Rogue Gallery Art Center, Medford, Ore., 2007 and 2008. She exhibited often in Taos, New Mexico.
