Charles Naillod Charles Naillod was
born on June 6, 1876 in Paris. He is known for his portraits, nudes,
and paintings of sailors. Naillod participated
in many Parisian Salons including the Salon des Indépendants
beginning in 1906. He also exhibited in the Salon des Artistes Français
and in 1920 became the secretary of the organization. Naillod was primarily a painter, but he also produced many fine aquatint etchings in the fashion of Louis Icart. His paintings can be compared to the neoclassical style of Jean Dupas. |
