Earl T. Donelson

1908-1985

Earl Donelson studied at the Trenton School of Industrial Art and at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. He was also a student of Joseph T Pearson, Daniel Garber and Breckenbridge.

Donelson was a member American Artists Professional League. He exhibited Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts from 1932-1935, the Art Institute Chicago in 1932, National Academy of Design in 1933, Philadelphia Museum of Art in1936, Virginia Museum of Fine Art in 1938, Baltimore Museum of Art in 1932, and the Society of Fine Arts and History 1932.

Donelson was the head of the Department of Design at New Jersey Arts and Crafts from 1940-1942, and the art advisor at Fine Arts and Monuments Section of the Allied Military Government in Munich, Germany in 1945. He was art director at Paterson Parchment Paper Company in Bristol, PA from 1948.
