Jean Baptiste Houel

Twentieth Century

Jean Houel was born in Condé –sur-Noireau, France. He exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants. Very little in known of his career, his style and technique is Postimpressionist. We know he painted nudes and used unusual perspective.

Houel is represented in the Musée de Cahors Henri-Martin.
