Jane Kraike

1910-1991

Kraike was a painter, sculptor, serigrapher. She was orn on Nov. 1, 1910 in Cleveland, OH. Jane Goldstein married Michael Kraike in 1930.

After studying in New York at the Art Studenbts League, Cooper Union, and the National Academy of Design, she moved to Hollywood, CA in 1937 with her husband, a film writer.

She left southern California in 1973, she moved north to the redwood forest area of Mendocino where she was active in the local art scene.

Kraike died in Santa Rosa, CA on Oct. 27, 1991.
