Roland Chavenon
B. 1895
Roland Chavenon was born in Paris and exhibited widely during the early part of the century among the ranks of Paul Cézanne. His credits include exhibits with Salon d’Automne from 1919, Salon des Indépendants until 1929 and the Salon des Tuileries. In 1922 Paul Sentenac wrote of Chavenon’s life and work in L’Art d’Au Jour d’Hui.
The Grenoble and Nantes museums have collected his work.
